- Annual completions = employees × completions per employee per year
- Employee training hours = annual completions × average minutes ÷ 60
- Employee time cost = employee training hours × employee hourly cost
- Administration cost = combined monthly admin hours × 12 × admin hourly cost
- Total annual cost = employee time + administration + training/content + other costs
- Cost per employee = total ÷ employees; cost per completion = total ÷ annual completions

How is the cost of compliance training calculated?
Annual completions are your workforce multiplied by completions per employee. Employee time cost is completions × minutes ÷ 60 × hourly employee cost. Administration cost is combined monthly admin hours × 12 × admin hourly cost. The total adds training/content and other costs. Cost per employee and cost per completion divide that total.
What hidden costs does compliance training have?
