Import and export courses
Import a course from another LMS as an IMS Common Cartridge file, and export a course as Common Cartridge, SCORM 1.2 or SCORM 2004 to run elsewhere.
Import from another LMS Link to “Import from another LMS”
- Export the course from your current LMS as an IMS Common Cartridge (.imscc) file.
- In Sublime LMS, open the course you want to import into and its Import / Export tab.
- Drop the .imscc file in, or click to browse.
- Use Preview before import to choose the modules and lessons you want, then import them.
Export a course Link to “Export a course”
From the same tab, choose the lessons to export and a format:
- Common Cartridge: round-trips, so you can import it into this or another LMS and keep editing.
- SCORM 1.2: the most widely supported; completion and quiz scores are reported to the host LMS.
- SCORM 2004 (4th Ed.): finer completion and success reporting where the host LMS supports it.
