What the training compliance audit covers

The audit follows the lifecycle of mandatory training: assignment → completion tracking → overdue management → certificates and evidence → expiry → reminders and escalation → recertification → reporting and audit readiness. Every result comes from your answers, with no benchmarks or AI-generated conclusions.

  • Training AssignmentHow reliably mandatory requirements reach the right employees, including joiners and people who change roles.
  • Completion TrackingHow clearly you can see who has completed, is due, is overdue or has not started.
  • Overdue TrainingHow quickly overdue training is found, prioritized and followed up.
  • Certificates & EvidenceHow easily you can prove completion with certificates and records.
  • Expiry ManagementHow well you track training that expires.
  • Reminders & EscalationHow employees, managers and administrators are prompted before and after due dates.
  • RecertificationHow renewals are identified, assigned and recorded across cycles.
  • Reporting & Audit ReadinessHow quickly you can produce reliable compliance reports and answer audit requests.

Training compliance audit: frequently asked questions

What is a training compliance audit?

A training compliance audit reviews how your organization assigns, tracks, renews and proves mandatory employee training. This free self-assessment covers eight areas: training assignment, completion tracking, overdue training, certificates and evidence, expiry management, reminders and escalation, recertification, and reporting and audit readiness.

How is my score calculated?

Each applicable answer earns 0–4 maturity points. A category score is the points earned divided by the points available in that category, as a percentage. The overall score is all points earned divided by all points available. Questions marked Not applicable are left out of both, so they never lower your score.

Does this audit tell me whether we are compliant?

No. The audit evaluates the training-management processes you describe. It does not determine legal or regulatory compliance, and it is not legal advice, regulatory advice, certification or an independent audit.

What if our training does not expire?

Answer No to the expiry question and the Expiry Management and Recertification sections are skipped and shown as Not Applicable. They are excluded from your score.

Do I need to share employee data?

No. The audit asks about processes, never about individual employees. You won't be asked for names, emails, IDs, certificate files or HR records.

Do I need to sign up?

No. The audit and your full result are free with no login. You only share an email address if you choose to receive the report or request a review, and we verify it with a one-time code.

Is my data stored?

Your answers stay in your browser while you work. Nothing is sent to Sublime unless you request the report or a review, and your answers are never put in the page URL.
